Very bizarre and strange concept. It’s a fun watch and very much suits the style Joe Dante had in the 80s (director of Gremlins). It definitely has no need to be 2 hours long but it doesn’t detract from the overall project

The perfect amount of absurdity - highly recommended if you liked Only Murders in the Building but haven’t seen a Martin Short film that you liked.

Very good acting from Martin Short as he has the ability to be hilarious and serious, all round great movie with comedy, sci fi and adventure, although in the beginning I was confused of what was happening

There were a couple of scenes that made me laugh. The love triangle was odd

I’ve been wanting to see this for almost 40 years Thank goodness I was not disappointed! I had a blast with this film! It was fun, funny, and had heart! This is how you make a science fiction film! With all practical effects that still hold up to this day!

A lot of fun - the love triangle didn’t work for me, but see why they went there. 3/5

The excellence in filmmaking of Spielberg meets the zany bottle rocket of Short. Fun and unserious. Meg Ryan is throwing heat. Plus Quaid.

Another classic!

This was actually pretty good! It was funny, entertaining, and suspenseful. Villains were fantastic!! I just feel like a lot goes unexplained, it’s confusing for the viewer. Ending was alright, didn’t like how they were fighting over Lydia. But overall it was good. 8/10

A fantastic, very funny comedy with a great cast; the effects still hold up and are even better than what some of the major studios are doing today.
