8/10 really great movie, but if I talked to my parents like these little girls did, I wouldn’t have survived my childhood.

I feel for them, each of them have their own problems and they try their hardest to power through it and at the end of the day, they love each other. Even with manic depression, Cameron tries his best even though it gets the best of him at times. Maggie just wants a better life for her kids and spend time with them. I admire how much she loves Cameron, she never talks bad about him and always sees the best in him, it’s beautiful in a way. By the way, Faith is such a character, half the time she is funny and the best character in the scene. And off topic, I love the grain that’s added to modern movies, it gives off a modern day nostalgic feel. I love it every time. Great movie.

"the thing about daddy is that he's always around. He's always there"
If even a manic depressive dad managed to have a nice relationship with his daughters, then I really got nothing else to say!!!

Chaotic but charming movie. Whoever decided to cast Ruffalo in this role was a genius because it matches his personality so well.

A touching and funny film with a subject matter dealt with too sensitively. Mark Ruffalo gives a great performance which elevates the film’s quality.
