Much better on a rewatch. Lovecraftian horror and Sam Neil? Maybe the perfect horror combo. I’ll watch anything with him in it 8.5/10

decent at best, but the concept could’ve been great. not Sam Neil’s best performance, his accent falters throughout the film. heavy handed references. enjoyed the ending tho. 4/10

I like how Carpenter does stuff and this premise is intriguing. But ultimately, just outside of my wheelhouse. I enjoyed Neill in the lead.
