This film works because of its self contained story! It introduces large thematic ideas that are confined to a small town narrative making the story accessible. The characters are interesting/not overplayed, the writing is poignant, and the exploration of violence feels nuanced.

7/10 good but kinda boring

A fresh well written and well executed hitman movie. The story was very impact full and easily Liam Neeson’s most underrated movie and his best performance in years.

Fine action/thriller with a western tinge. Those Scottish accents are hard to discern sometimes though! There is a recycled plot of guy gets pulled back in to do one last thing. Not bad for a Liam Neeson b-movie actioner.

Like a western set in Ireland, which leads to some beautiful scenery and cinematography. Other than that the film felt bland. There was certainly an over reliance on stereotypes. Nothing fresh here, but nothing rotten either.

A solid, atmospheric small town thriller with strong leads and sense of place and time, but too familiar and undercooked.

Perhaps I was a bit too pretentious the first time I watched it. It’s very good, kinda like your Sunday night movie to watch before going to bed.

Neeson is a legend, as per usual, and i remember enjoying the action.

More of a dialogue heavy movie. Great scenes.

Best movie I've seen Liam play in in a while. Not action packed, but it's a good story. Couldn't believe it was Geoffrey from GOT as a hitman. Wow, he looked different, and it's a good role for him. Overall, it's worth a watch
