In the Heights Reviews

usnavi all night u barely even danced with me??

Anthony Ramos is great but sometimes he kinda sounded like Lin Manuel Miranda 😬😬😬

This is a literal master piece and the music is amazing because Lin Manuel wrote it💗 It’s so worth the watch!!

Obsessed

Very very good movie!! About 15 seconds into the first song I turned to my friend and went “This is Lin Manuel Miranda right” cause his craftsmanship is so iconic

the representation my people got is just ❤️

amazing movie with gorgeous music, gorgeous imagery and great characters with super emotional moments, makes me cry, beautifully translated from stage to screen

I love musicals

honestly lowkey disappointing like... some songs were great but others were so cringy and the cinematography lowkey meh af

usnavi almost fumbled so bad that i would have self deported

cool songs, doesn’t compare to Hamilton

Was expecting more than this, story was also kind of meh (no disrespect in ANY way)
I loved the inspiration behind Usnavi’s name though 😂 🇺🇸 🚢

it was good, but the stage version is so so so so SO much better in my opinion

Good movie. Good music. Watched late one night and will watch again

Wow this movie made me so emotional… the music is amazing and upbeat but the storyline is still genuine and engrossing

I don’t know what I was thinking when I first reviewed this movie, but it really resonated with me. Love the music, characters, direction, and heart put into such a proud film.

An absolutely beautiful movie with amazing music, a great story, and likable characters
