Immaculate

Based on the trailer alone, I thought this movie was going to be a cliche religious horror movie involving a supernatural pregnancy but the reveal of what is actually going on surprised me a lot. Also, Sydney Sweeney’s performance genuinely impressed me, especially at the end

Felt like a whole lot of build up for no climax… like 2 kind of jump scares but mostly just kind of vaguely unsettling and they didn’t even show the baby at the end??? And the weird red nuns? What was up with the opening scene just never going to bring that up?

sydney needed a breakout role to get out of the “big boob blonde” trope and this was definitely it! it showcased that she genuinely is a good actress. ending scene🫣🫣girl put her ALL into that!!! i love women rage in films.

9/10 still stands up for me. I loved this

One hour and a Half of Hammer House of Horrors type movie ! A gory jump-fest for us older generation, great acting and tense atmosphere from start to finish 😱! Get it on your list (on BBCi Player) 👻

i didn’t hate it but didn’t love it, sydney did a good job at acting in this usually she acts as the dumb blonde girl that gets noticed for her body, i actually liked gwen, not bad for a religious movie either, had a couple jump scares, 5.5/10
