I really like this kind of movies that make you feel comfortable and feel like you could actually be friends with the characters

It’s uncommon to find this type of humor that doesn’t feel too forced and scripted (even if it is)

I also NEED more movies starring rachel senott

'I Used to Be Funny' is raw, real, and deeply relatable for anyone who’s just trying to get through it, hang onto the good, and make sense of things that don’t make sense.

Rachel Sennott has RANGE!!!! A bit slow and confusing at the start but once things were revealed, everything started to make sense and the way everything came together at the end was beautiful, the movie is wonderfully shot and very simplistic in execution which I admire, the story hit HARRD and the soundtrack was great!! This was a good watch and I enjoyed it!!

movie broke me. but i also laughed at it, but they used phoebe bridger songs twice and that killed me. anyway you should watch this movie, but make sure you have a box if tissues with you, because you'll probably cry.

a really powerful story about trauma, loss, grief and the the difficulties of navigating relationships with yourself and others after. Rachel Sennott was absolutely incredible, and i thought the flip flop between past present was a great choice.

Over the past couple of years I’ve become a pretty big fan of Rachel Sennott, so much that I went into this completely blind. Not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this! It started off a little slow, leaving you thinking messed up shit happened, which is exactly right!

i truly think whoever made the soundtrack for this wants me dead because what the fuck do you mean double phoebe bridgers needle drop…..

An absolutely raw heartbreaking but AMAZING movie. Please everyone go watch this. This shows every emotion every feeling you’d ever think of, I don’t even know how to express the words I feel for this. Rachel Sennott you are a masterpiece and I’m starting to love allllll your work.

dont hate me but I didnt love it. Honestly most of the movie was so confusing and jumping back and forth. Dont get me wrong it still wad a beautiful story

So real, so heartbreaking and funny too. This movie was such a good watch, but it made me so sad but it now holds a special place in my heart. Literally a movie that knows how to use dark humor and drama correctly. Beautiful

Not as good as a lot of ppl make it out to be. Kinda slow, not that funny.

So powerfully honest in every scene, one of those projects that make you forget about filmmaking with how genuine it truly is. I love Rachel Sennott, so glad others get to see all the more talents she has. Powerful, down to earth and kind to those who’ve experienced depression

rachel sennott is the it girl, there, I said it! really good watch. great soundtrack - phoebe, muna, adrianne lenker, and more. plenty of emotions to be had. never really knew what was coming next which was intriguing

This was so… wow. THE ACTING??? HELLO??? The soundtrack was so good too… and I’m in shambles. This was the most realistic movie I think I’ve ever seen. 9/10
