Underrated movie. Feels like a modern version of Carpenter’s Starman. A great reflection on grief and loss. Jillian Bell is great in the lead role and the idea that it’s just her brain processing the stages of grief is so creative.

In 2022 this is really how they decided an alien should speak??? This movie made me want to burn my eyes out. I couldn’t even finish it.

I waited a while for this one and finally caught it on Hulu. I was really interested in the premise of the movie but felt let down. I don’t know if it was the pacing or the way they portrayed the “alien” but I was really hoping for more. 4/10
