Great film which depicts Bob Dylan’s life in different personas and phases in his life. So it was pretty cool that six different actors played him.
What made this film awesome was seeing two of the greatest actors of all time in Heath Ledger and Christian Bale together again.

A good film that captures the essence of Dylan.
There are some points I felt disinterested for some reason, even as a huge Dylan fan. However, it is so well made and abstract, with amazing performances by Blanchett in particular (shoutout Bale, Ledger and Gere). Going to revisit.

Listen I tried my best to get into this but it just wasn’t it for me. A little bit too ✨subversive✨ the premise was super engaging but 40 minutes in I was thinking…. okay?? Another hour and a half of this??? but I am not a reliable critic of artsy movies bc my brain is smooth

i love bob dylan and it was so fascinating to get a little look into his mind and personalities. Not sure exactly how i feel about this movie but i just know i didnt want it to end

Very subversive to the biographical genre; every actor gives depth to the version of Dylan they’re portraying. Especially Cate Blanchett who is utterly mesmerizing and after this seems like the only person who could portray him during that era.
