I liked Stevie’s twist but did not like Ray’s twist

In 2026 when someone asks me “what did you do last summer?” I will probably say “I don’t know” because I will have completely forgotten about this movie.

90's slasher greatness!

Terrible acting, terrible writing, and just boring. This movie fucking sucks 😭

I wasn't going to be all that negative until we got to the trash reveal, and then the dialogue got cringy and even worse with legacy characters. It was pretty okay up until then, but this franchise will always remain terrible, I suppose.

Still watching but these lines I want to remember.

“I Know What You Did Last Summer” was a fun summer slasher with some solid moments but it definitely did not live up to the original. I liked it but the ending left me a little disappointed. The reveal that Ray was the leader of the killings just did not sit right with me and felt like a weak and stupid twist. One of the highlights for me was Teddy because he was hilarious and brought some much needed humor to the movie. Madelyn Cline also completely nailed her role as Danica. She was great and honestly the main reason I enjoyed the movie as much as I did. I also loved that Helen made a brief return because I am a huge fan of Sarah Michelle Gellar. It was so cool to see her, even if it was just for a short scene. It was entertaining and had its moments but it fell short of the original in terms of story and payoff.

It’s kind of like Scream, so yeah, I liked it. And from what they showed, it looks like a sequel is coming, so yeah… I like it.

Entertaining, hot cast, and nostalgic. But I think I was expecting them to up the stakes more and wanted the climax to hit harder. Still worth the watch but you should definitely watch the OG movie beforehand to compare

Ist kein Neuverfilmung, sondern Fortsetzung. War ganz okay, aber jetzt nicht richtig gut. Auch eher bisschen wie ein Krimi. Gute alte Schauspieler mit reingebracht, aber war vom Sinn nicht immer ganz passend.

This was a good slasher movie. I’m glad that the two girl bosses survived at the end. It did do a good job of having me guess who the killer is. and overall I enjoyed it although I feel like the motive wasn’t strong enough it was a little lame

For nostalgia reasons, I enjoyed this movie… And there is a major twist at the end… But in the grand scheme of motion pictures… It wasn’t the best.

I didn’t really expect the film to be good but wow that was acc terrible. it’s not like the last ones were that good but this was soo dumb. it made me want to fall asleep and never wake up.

Man talk about a twist that was NOT needed at all 😑 the movie was going fine up until the last 20 or so minutes. I mean they could’ve picked ANYONE else to be the killer but they went with one of the 2 people that you just shouldn’t have. The only redeeming quality of this is the kills were pretty cool but other than that I’ll probably never watch this again. I really enjoyed the original, but this legacy sequel was not it and not even needed especially with an ending like that. As Jeremy Jahns’ says, woulda been better if I was drunk ✌🏻

Cool movie but seemed a bit dumb at times due to the acting but still worth a watch tbh, even more so if you have seen the rest of the movie series

Stop rebooting and sequeling movies that were from the 90s, they are dumb!

This is definitely one of my favorite “requels”. I thought the horror scenes were super well done, they made the fisherman super scary and really captured the unique vibe of the original while still being modern. I predicted the killer almost immediately, but still had fun!

This one was a big stinker. The dialogue in this movie was so bad it made me laugh at times. The beginning was promising but continued to lose me the more we go into the film. The kills were somewhat cool. Also I guessed the killer right away. This was a let down. 4.8/10.
