Threw this on because I loved the first movie and was curious about the story behind “Even If”. I honestly love this emotional follow-up; it tackles the heavy weight of parenthood and finding hope.

What Worked:
• Ventimiglia brings raw heart; his storyline about holding onto hope is super inspiring.
• Finley sounds incredible, and his scenes reconnecting with his son feel super authentic.
• Tying the new song to real-life hardship completely moved me.

The Friction:
• The tour bus breakdown part really dragged for me when I just wanted the Red Rocks performance.
• The Bart and Sam conflict honestly felt a little repetitive compared to the first movie.

Verdict:
Watch for a touching story about family and hope. Skip if medical storylines easily overwhelm you.

Even if!!! So goood! I’m crying still!

The actor for Bart was throwing me off a little cuz' of the age gap, although I know he was Bart in the last movie.

Surprisingly just as good as the first one

Really good for a sequel, but not as good as the first one. Another strong and emotional true story that leads to a beautiful ending. There are a few slow parts and iffy writing, but it doesn’t take away from the whole movie. I like how it explores more people as well. 6.5/10

A great real life story about how God is working even if the answer is wait or no.

If you want to cry the whole movie then this emotional rollercoaster is for you!!!
