Maybe my least favorite Madea movie even though it has a strong opening. Half the runtime is just musical performances.

UGH LOVE ME SOME TYLER PERRY MOVIES. Go watch it’s very entertaining, it’s says a lot and gives life lessons just from this movie alone. 10/10

Taraji in this was amazing! you can really feel the depth of her character, as well as the others. There were some funny parts and in general a good real authentic storyline. Overall: 8.5/10

Strong TP movie, not saying much. The acting is VERY good…script leaves MUCH to be desired. I hate is how the movie keeps telling you how good a person April is but that DEVELOPMENT isn’t shown- she just turns good at the end, so it’s weird that the LI likes her from the start.
