1/22/26: a slowly started but highly exciting and effective feminine barbaric drama that emphasizes cruelty within wealth, eee it was so fun watching Bette and Olivia go at it. Also, !! the first gore I have seen in a film before 1965!! Wild!

This movie peaked in the beginning. The kill scenes were really good, especially during the time period, but the movie really shouldn't be that long. Bette Davis's performance is just as great as she was in Baby Jane.
