this was such a good horror movie. it’s such a cool concept too, it really made it feel like you were her by cutting the sound. the only dumb decision someone made in the movie is maddie living alone and having THAT many windows in her house. only complaint about the movie though is it’s pretty long for me

Nahhh cause why did she bang on the window when dude was about to save her?😡🤬 and how could you not feel someone staring at you😐 and why anyone live the woods ALONE when their deaf😐 and why does she have so many DOORS!!! Why wouldn’t you grab a knife or a pan to fight back?

I really liked the concept on paper but after watching it I felt less and less thrilled throughout the movie and got to the point of just waiting for the movie to end.

6/10 Above Average. While there is some great uniqueness with the deaf lead, good cinematography, and excellent tension, the actual story unfortunately descends into tropes, making this one feel relatively bland. Also, the villain was a bit underwhelming, basic psychopath.
