Husbands
A viscerally uncomfortable look at midlife crises and masculinity, like many Cassavetes’ films, it’s physically painful to watch, it feels like you’re trapped in a room with the worst people you know. That’s what makes Cassavetes a great director.

Husbands
The script, characters, and the film's presentation is very candid and naturalistic, which is very enjoyable and watching them cope with their grief is very intriguing. however it is almost too long and short. some scenes could use more background or detail and others trimmed.
