3/10 The film is documentary style for like 90% of the movie, with it slowly falling into a YouTuber-esque investigation, and the last 10% is Blair Witch camcorder, weird, naked, predictable, paranormal footage. The worst part is that they did what I hate, which is to do something for no reason except stupid, plot-driven actions. Why would you do the exact same thing that got someone else murked? What exactly were you expecting??? Calling this a horror movie is low-key a stretch. And in the beginning, it feels like they're doing a parody documentary?? Nahh, but I guess it's not the worst thing in the world 😐 I saw it as part of a mystery movie night, just watched the trailer, if you watch it too, you basically saw the entire movie already 😅

One of the scariest last 10 minutes of a film I’ve seen. The premise was really good but they could’ve done soooo much more with it. Should’ve fleshed Roy out more and the explanation(s) They had all the ingredients but kinda messed it up. Enjoyable though.

Feel bad cause I like a mockumentary and scary pov but just not that good

Saw this for an early screening. It was decent enough, but pretty slow paced and feels like a generic mockumentary film. Definitely nothing special to somebody who avidly watches horror movies

Saw an early screening of this for AMC’s Scream Unseen and I was immediately disappointed. I’m not a huge fan of documentaries but mocumentaries are even worse. The acting wasn’t great and the reverse cherry on top was they made the movie satanic.

Maybe I’m just not the biggest fan of found footage movies. This was horribly paced and INSANELY boring. Found myself rolling my eyes and scoffing nearly the entire time. If you’re hoping for something scary, I strongly suggest you watch something else.

A film that covers all the bases of the genre, just a little bit worse than they should be. Especially with how much influence Blair Witch has on this movie’s story and direction, the mediocrity is amplified more than it’d be otherwise. The last 2 minutes did give decent chills.

Less cringey than the trailers and had some potential, but unfortunately squandered its occasional tension by devolving into the typical cliches of found footage
