How Green Was My Valley Reviews

The second half really saved this film for me. I hate to say it, but in the first half I was completely disinterested in the story and family. By the second half I got more interested and grew to care for this family. Not enough for emotional impact but I can say I like the film.

Nominated for 10 Oscar’s and won 5. It famously best Citizen Kane for best pic. This film is heartbreaking for pretty much the entire film. There are times when it has happiness. Really powerful.

Hard watch but overall not bad

i liked some parts but overall this is a boring ass movie💀

8/10 solid John Ford film

Dull and hard to get through. Yes, this movie gets unnecessary flack for beating out Citizen Kane, but without that being said, this movie just doesn’t stand out as anything great or award-worthy.
