I was completely sold until about halfway through the bamboo forest and end. Unreal visuals. Mei is stunning and Jin is charming.

A silly movie with a thin and confused story. It abandons the rivalry of the House of Flying Daggers and the dynasty in favor for an unnatural love triangle. The only redeeming aspect of it is the visuals and sets/costumes. The action isn’t remarkable either, just stylized.

Absolutely favorite foreign movie as of 2023❤️. Great watch. This movie help me find my love for subtitles 😁

Another great martial arts movie if you like this genre!
