I first saw this not knowing that this was the prologue to Darjeeling Limited and oh my god, I need to go watch it immediately now. This was so beautifully written, acted and shot. 8/10

Such a smart short film and love that it’s a prequal to one of my favorite Wes Anderson films as well.

8/18/26: lmao. Ridiculous. Wes Anderson is kinda rapey. Natalie Portman is so pretty with pixie hair, I miss that. What movie did she shop it off for? I don’t remember but this made me feel bad for her, Jason Shwarzman gives me major red flags as a person. The song that was playing in this was sooooooo annoying. wes anderson is a genius

It’s pretty good. The filmography is good, the writing is alright, it’s trippy to see Wes Anderson while he’s “Pre-Wes Anderson”. It just felt very weird, it also kinda reaffirms women’s beauty standards a little too hard.
