5/10 Hot Rod is an odd one for me, my friends live by this movie and quote it fairly often. I however found it to be kind of dumb and not all that funny when put up against comedy powerhouses like Step Brothers and Superbad. There are a few laughs to be had here but that’s all.

This was really, really, really, REALLY dumb…I laughed once or twice…but dear lord was this stupid😂

An underrated comedy! One of my all-time favorite comedy movie, seen it countless times

The triple threat of Hader, McBride, and Samberg is iconic and hilarious. Love the improvised scenes and dialogue, and the funny mini bits scattered throughout the movie.

Genuinely the funniest thing ever. This viewing really felt nostalgic. I miss the home video ness of it all even though it was such an amazingly well funded project

I'm pretty confident this movie is just a biography of Andy Sambergs life. very quoteable movie, hilarious plot and has more of a "slapstick comedy" approach to it.

One of the stupidest masterpieces I’ve seen. Terribly wonderful. Laughed a lot!
