Awful. Confusing. Utter waste of 3 hours

It’s like the Hallmark channel made a western.

So much potential and alot to like. But with all the storylines it felt hard to see where the stories were going and with who. I'm excited for the next part, but I'm restrained. I hope he makes the movie he longed to so we can feel his love for it come through.

@garrett , is this supposed to be the entry for Chapter 1 or 2? The title says 1, but the image says 2, and there is another entry with no chapter reference in it, which I originally assumed was chapter 1.

Unless this is intended to be chapter 2, I don’t see an entry for it yet.

Is anyone else having trouble with that?

Assuming chapter two isn’t coming out soon I’ll just rate it how I rated chapter one

Omg, what a mess... so many stories and a weird storyline. Not the best acting and to much dialog for a cowboy movie, every one was so clean. Have to watch part two just to see if any of those three hours were worth it

What the hell. Sets and cinematography are gorgeous. Should not be a film. Feels like a TV show where you're expected to understand all the plots by episode 7-8. And there's a bizarre montage at the end that might as well have started with "This season on Horizon"..

Slightly long but seems to be a good depiction of various view points during that time period of "manifest destiny".

For me, this really fell short of the hype it received as a “western epic”

I don’t understand the hate.

Bleh. Bleh. bleh. The cinematography was beautiful but everything else, the storyline, yeah gross. Who was the protagonist? I feel like I’m just watching a three hour trailer of just random movies glued together. I hated this

Watched this a few days ago and I didn’t like it. Very boring, slow pace, and a very messy film overall. I might give a chance on chapter 2 or I might not… idk.

Could be better
