good story but weird production

Prepare for goosebumps and plenty of tears! 😭 This film is an OG classic that gives you something real to believe in. Watching Liz overcome the loss of her mother to finish high school in just two years is a masterclass in resilience. It’s pure motivation on screen.

I used to love this movie
The first time I watched it was on my iPod one night when I was staying up late during high school and it left a weird imprint on me. I was dyingggg tho at the end statement about her dad 🤣

Very good movie

Logging this partly as a joke because I watched this with my friend in her health class BUT! The story itself isn’t bad (it is actually quite moving especially since it is real), but it’s so overacted and plays out like a high school theater production…

It is not very memorable as a movie
