it was okay, just didn’t like how much they modernized it

mid. i hated the magic effects, the humor felt incredibly pandering and it almost never made me laugh, was just nostalgia bait, the only good parts were the characters from the original movie but it felt like they didn’t try with anything else, not surprised just disappointed

ob was never gunna come close to the original, but i think they did a fine job w the modern take

Leuke film voor een keertje! Het begin vond ik erg leuk alleen het einde was een anticlimax. Het had veel potentie maar pakte me niet helemaal. Wel spooky vibes en leuk om de sandersons witches weer te zien 💀. Ik vond de referenties naar de oude film wel heel erg leuk!

I really like this one!! Not sure why it got so much hate? Loved Becca and Izzy and the mayor, thought this was so funny and was cracking up at the Walgreens scene and them not knowing how anything works in the 21st century 😂 This had heart and was funny and definitely got me in the Halloween spirit 🎃 And I liked seeing the sisters when they were young, those actresses did a great job portraying them!!

3.5/5 - maybe a crime to admit this but i lowkey preferred it to the original… i just felt that the added layer of the girls being witchy in themselves was fun & the ending was sweet
