Zach Cregger wishes he could make a film half as good as HIVE. Though its comparable to Weapons...HIVE has a deeper meaning, stronger setting, and overall more complex characters than ANY Cregger film could have. Xochitl brings life into her character and it's refreshing to see!!

horror movie on a kids' playground - surprisingly fresh for a Tubi original. Xochitl Gomez is great. Think Cooties meets Children of the Corn or Weapons. Fun rather than scary, dumb decisions, clunky dialogue, weak finale. But the core idea works. ★★★
