As a standalone experiment, fascinating take on Highlander lore. It’s not better than the original films or tv series, but it’s braver. Colin & Marcus’ rivalry mirrors Connor’s & Kurgan. Colin feels like a broken middle ground between Connor’s mythic heroism & Duncan’s humanity.
