Highlander

Loved this movie when it came out. Upon rewatch it does not hold up… at all.

A unique opportunity for a reboot. If done well could be a classic.

They had the money, the names, the material, the effects (sort of), the soundtrack... they basically had all the ingredients to cook up a classic. Unfortunately, they overcooked it and created an epileptic nightmare. Far too loud. Far too flashy. Far too long. Far too sloppy. The upcoming remake has all the potential it can. It has the director, the stunts, the music, and the cast. I just hope they don't overcook or even undercook it.
