I can’t finish this it’s so boring, I think I’m too stupid to comprehend this movie 😭.

Not an entertaining movie per se, but philosophical with great cinematic value. Film school movie. Great performances, strong artistic vision. Had trouble keeping track of the characters, though. Hard to condense a book into a movie, the seams showed a bit.

It’s hard to “Like” anything this repulsive and unsettling, but that is quite likely the point.
“High Rise” is very much a spiritual successor to “A Clockwork Orange”

Technically I never finished this bc it was way too boring but oh my what a convoluted story that tries to emulate Bong Joon-Ho’s direction style

i don’t know what i just watched tbh, good theme and message but it felt like the industry trying to make a indi film (which is what it was). the story just could have been told better (but i get that was also the point) overall fixed feels but it was good.

Meh the cinematography is good the movie as a whole not so much

this might be a great film for people who can actually grasp the plot. i just personally found the storyline a bit hard to follow.

In the end, even intelligent and very human actors cannot save High-Rise, whose last hour is a near-complete disaster. One feels that the director and screenwriter, above all else, are simply way over their heads.

This was such a chaotic shit show…. It seemed to have promise but it was all over the place.

i see the idea but it’s a lil boring, i stopped after 30 mins. there r a few baddies like sienna miller, sienna guillory, keeley hawes, and stacy martin. the scene was crazy.

i watched half and was bored out of my mind. i love tom so much. as we all know i want to gobble his balls but his hotness isn’t enough to keep me watching this damn ass movie. maybe i’ll try again another day but it’s not happening anytime soon.
