What a Beautiful Stupid Movie

Made zero sense but I literally don’t care cause the aesthetic is EVERYTHING. I’m just here for the vibes at the end of the day

Simply an aesthetics movie. Love sophie thatcher and charles melton but i was lost the entire time..and to find out they were rewriting and finishing the scripts during filming made me realize that this movie never TRULY had a fully fleshed out story just the echo of one, one that literally makes you feel like youre losing your mind.

I didn't understand a thing about that leatherman. The only thing I liked was the cast.

Super mid. After reading the Reddit on it, I respect it but wow that was poorly executed. Reminded me of like a nega-version of a Wes Anderson movies with the color and overall tone. Set designs were cool and unique. But story and execution were poopy. Like BAD bad. 4.5/10

Visually the movie was cool but I genuinely could not figure out what this movie was trying to relay. I wouldn’t recommend watching this.

wtf was this man - i tried so hard to like it and find any meaning out the story at all and just literally couldn’t - brutal pacing and the structure just made it impossible to follow and get behind anything - never knew what it was trying to be and couldn’t commit to a theme - sophie thatcher was great but she shouldn’t have ever taken this role

Best looking worst movie

If Terry Gilliam & David Lynch we’re to ever make a movie together, it would have been this.

if I had paid attention to who the director was I probably would have trusted my initial instinct not to see this

this is one of those movies where u kinda need to know the director’s style and storytelling in order to understand it. like if i hadn’t watched the neon demon and known NWR’s style i probably wouldnt have liked it as much as i did 😭
