What a Beautiful Stupid Movie

Great visuals and soundtrack not much else

I didn't understand a thing about that leatherman. The only thing I liked was the cast.

Super mid. After reading the Reddit on it, I respect it but wow that was poorly executed. Reminded me of like a nega-version of a Wes Anderson movies with the color and overall tone. Set designs were cool and unique. But story and execution were poopy. Like BAD bad. 4.5/10

Visually the movie was cool but I genuinely could not figure out what this movie was trying to relay. I wouldn’t recommend watching this.

wtf was this man - i tried so hard to like it and find any meaning out the story at all and just literally couldn’t - brutal pacing and the structure just made it impossible to follow and get behind anything - never knew what it was trying to be and couldn’t commit to a theme - sophie thatcher was great but she shouldn’t have ever taken this role

If Terry Gilliam & David Lynch we’re to ever make a movie together, it would have been this.

if I had paid attention to who the director was I probably would have trusted my initial instinct not to see this

this is one of those movies where u kinda need to know the director’s style and storytelling in order to understand it. like if i hadn’t watched the neon demon and known NWR’s style i probably wouldnt have liked it as much as i did 😭
