honestly I want an even deeper doc into this that actually emphasizes the atrocities committed at these camps rather than allowing the perpetrators to emphasize their colored defense of their actions

Interesting subject but I wish it was broken up into more episodes. I feel like this “movie” only scratched the surface of what these kids experienced.

This is so disturbing what happened to these children. It is great that these stories are now being brought to light.

Interesting but this doc has zero vision. Half the time I didn’t know what to believe. Everyone involved is fucked up. The creators of the camps, the parents who spend thousands of dollars to send their kids with no research, and the shitbag teenagers. Left me annoyed

A wild documentary about scaring troubled youth into a society approved life. It starts showing the positives, and I think there was some genuine care put into it, but it slowly devolves into a true hell camp. Watch knowing your triggers, as it can be a bit disturbing.

really helped me understand what the “trouble teen industry” really is. idc how ‘rebellious’ a child is just because they drink or do drugs or whatever. no child deserves to be treated this way, let alone have their parents spend THOUSANDS just for them to go thru this.

Overall interesting topic and interesting documentary.

I liked that this was talking about something that hadn’t been talked about a lot but the execution was that good. I personally didn’t like the perspective it was from and it wasn’t consistent. They painted the leader as someone trying to be good and then reveals something late

I’d recommend The Program over this movie. Had much too positive of a spin for the start of abusive teen camps.

Could’ve been better. The people defending it seem careless and there could be far more depth, I think it would have been better as a docuseries
