Hedda Reviews

evil black sapphic changes lives

6.5/10

Hedda is a tense drama about a brilliant but unhappy woman whose manipulative choices spiral out of control. Strong acting and slow-burn tension make it gripping and unsettling.

One of the worst movies I saw this year

hedda. girl. you're so messy

I love when black women are evil in movies

Devious scheming women, and everyone is hot, what more can one ask for in a movie

It feel like a play which duh. Hedda reads as convoluted and manipulative as a result not ever dealing with uncomfortable or hard emotions. She really puppet masters.

Cinematic masterpiece with thrilling characters

such an elegant and sophisticated movie with various insights you wouldn't otherwise see.

watched it while at work one evening and was totally hooked.

Go off, sis!

Well made. It’s for people who love petty social drama and manipulative dialogue. Not for me.

Tessa Thompson the woman that you are

Kind of saltburn vibe but for lesbian i guess

okajkkkkk

While very stylish and enthusiastically acted, the story just didn’t do anything for me.

Golden globe 2025

Do I or do I not want to attend this party?
This is a film I start writing the review in the middle of because of how captivating it is. Tessa Thompson deserves that Oscar for this performance and stepping into character. Sure, some people can lie but.. calculated?
Well done. 🤌🏾🥂

I love Nina Hoss
