I did not expect brother Thaddeus to get any sort of redemption arc after how much I infuriated I was in that first scene

More of a character study coming of age movie that really hit for me even though I’m not normally into that style

I understand why but I don’t know HOW I’ve never seen this little golden nugget of literal pure exposure of the Catholic Church/school… my dad and gpa both told me stories of ALL this stuff happening to them and I think this movie was ballsy af for that and hilarious … tysm 😭🛐🤮

Typical coming of age 80’s movie. Don’t remember it from when a kid or missed it, but was a good watch.

I absolutely love this film, as it is a nostalgia trip for thus Catholic city guy. 20 tears ex post facto, from this films period.

I love how it feels like there’s not too much of a plot or some big solution besides the one guy getting fired especially because the main character also lost his love interest. It’s just a showing of a group of kids in a strict catholic school simply wanting to be kids.

Basic 80s movie, it isn’t as good as the others, but it is still funny and has dumb moments that make you laugh and are entertaining,. The plot is ok
