Mr. Eastwood is not an actor’s director, so if the actor aren’t good so the picture ain’t good either. I think this is the closest of a comedy from the director’s filmography, but it doesn’t delivers.

Noo I didn’t think this was good. Of course it was very funny sometimes but otherwise; no. For example, it didn’t have a lot of character development, or it did but we didn’t really get to see the “development”. Just the before and after.

Just a incredible movie that shows how lazy men can learn and adapt to the situation they are facing. Eastwood did a good job directing this war film and also gives one of his best performances in my opinion.
