Heart of the Beast Reviews

This one made me tear up. Mesmerising shots and some scenes just had me clutching my heart. “Lucky are the ones that get to experience the love of a Dog”. Amazing performance by both Pitt and Odin, the King!

A character that does not change, walking through a normal forest, with no stakes and no aspirations. An ending that’s spoiled at the beginning of the film, and a soundtrack that feels like it’s in the wrong movie.

There is nothing like the quiet of nature. Whole world to yourself. Unwavering confidence & stillness and strength portrayed in the unblinking eyes of Odin. A heartfelt ode to the relationship of Dogs & Humans and war veterans who never give up.

You don’t fly with heart problems, or call atc “atc”. What is this, “hello atc this is pilot in a plane at a place looking to talk! Also good luck talking to anybody in that locations. You don’t fly into a thunderstorm. And on top of all that. Why did he have 1200 sqauwked in imc

Loved Odin! Rest of the movie is okay and a bit emotionally manipulative.

Brad Pitts modern day revenant

No but seriously any animal lovers beware this will tug at the heart strings. It’s a really good movie though. Lots of intense scenes. I was happy with the ending too.

To describe this film with one word? Emotional. Even though I’ve never had a dog I felt the strength and depth of the bond between James and Odin. Except for the emotional capture of this film, the scenes of the nature in Alaska was very very good. Would recommend, 8,3/10.

A gripping survival thriller with a surprisingly emotional core. The bond between the soldier and his dog is easily the highlight, and the wilderness creates some genuinely tense moments. A little predictable at times, but heartfelt and entertaining.

Cried.

No intricate plot. No happy resolution. Just Brad Pitt walking around Alaska with his dog.

A very peaceful film, you may find your way to inner peace really enjoyed it in theaters

It’s a very sad film but an incredible one. I’ve never known a dog with so much aura as Odin.
