I wanna say I liked it, but it was a bit too choppy, like maybe if the movie was longer/if they developed the characters more, then I guess we could have connected with them more.
It just jumped from one thing to another, or no the overall idea and plot was there, it was good

9/10 A solid 9, Great action (almost Bourne like) / Cast/Soundtrack and Direction. Full of style which is topical from Director Steven Soderbergh, such a shame there’s no word of a sequel. Recommend.

This was good entertainment. Gina Carino is good here and it’s well made and smarter than I thought it would be. Theirs a great cast here and the fight scenes are excellent

Rating: 6.4/10
Haywire is a cool, stylish, and efficient action-thriller that showcases realistic fight choreography and slick filmmaking. However, its emotionally cold core and stiff lead performance hold it back from being truly great.
Highlights
- Stylish Direction: Steven Soderbergh's direction is cool and detached, with phenomenal fight scenes and a fantastic retro score.
- Great Supporting Cast: The film features an all-star supporting cast, including Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, and Channing Tatum.
- Impressive Fight Choreography: The practical stunt work and fight choreography are top-tier, with Gina Carano delivering incredible physical performances.
Criticisms
- Stiff Lead Performance: Gina Carano's acting is stiff and wooden, making it hard to connect with her character on an emotional level.
- Cold and Simplistic Plot: The screenplay is emotionally detached and overly simplistic, lacking depth and suspense.
- Unengaging Watch: The film can be a cold and unengaging watch due to the lead character's emotional inaccessibility and thin plot.
Verdict
Haywire is a fascinating but flawed action experiment that's a must-see for fans of Soderbergh's style and realistic fight choreography. However, its weak central performance and emotionally distant story hold it back from being a truly compelling thriller.

Pretty good quick action film with backstabbing and plenty of plot twists.
