a beautiful film which depicted harriet tubman more than what your traditional, whitewashed american textbooks say. she was a war general, a freedom fighter, and should be a celebrated figure of utmost importance in every corner of the US.

Boring tbh

harriet tubman is genuinely the most awe inspiring and brave figure in recent history. i immensely enjoyed experiencing her story through cynthia erivo, especially the commentary this made on christianity being used as a tool to subdue and manipulate enslaved people by framing their servitude and obedience as some sort of duty to god. live free or die.

Good songs but lacks realism. Feels way to romanticised and I did not vibewith Cynthia Erivo's portrayal.

Pretty good although I would have liked to see more of her life and all of her accomplishments after the Underground Railroad.

Harriet is such an important and iconic American historical figure. I will say that because there is so much fantastic works surrounding Harriet, I feel like this one falls a little short compared to others.

This movie was genuinely a cinematic masterpiece and an amazing adaptation of Harriet’s amazing story. It’s always an honor to learn more about Black history. Highly recommend watching.

This is actually crazy

Really good movie that shows some real captures of slavery. Eye opening and brave, let’s say it like that.

This movie had me balling my eyes out. And the fact that this is based on a true story made me think about how easy I really do have it in life. This movie is absolutely amazing
