Literally a waste of time. There was no point of making this movie.

Continuing my horror run, I fired this up to see the 2018 reboot’s aftermath. I like this; the kills are brutal and the score rips, but the messy script wastes all that momentum.

The Director's Eye (What Worked):
• Myers is a tank; his firefighter rampage is insanely gnarly.
• Returning 1978 characters give Haddonfield a cool, lived-in history.
• Carpenter’s score drives tension when the plot derails.

The Friction (What Didn't Click for Me):
• The mob chanting “Evil dies tonight!” gets annoying fast.
• Sidelining Jamie Lee Curtis to a hospital bed for basically the whole movie feels like a waste of Laurie Strode.
• The townspeople make the absolute dumbest decisions.

The Verdict:
I like it. Watch to see Myers be a menace. Skip it if you hate dumb character choices and clunky mob dialogue.
