This was good. For the wrong reasons. I will say this was the best version of Laurie we’ve had and all the parallels were fun to notice too. Other than that this movie made me laugh. I haven’t had that reaction from Halloween movie until now. Felt like a “Scary Movie” movie.

Holy shit this is my favorite one of the franchise

A brutal, back-to-basics slasher that wipes the slate clean and brings Michael Myers back with serious menace. Jamie Lee Curtis is a total badass, and the tension stays tight. It’s sharp, violent, and a worthy sequel that actually respects the original. A proper comeback.
