Super good movie, Andrew Garfield plays his role perfectly. The action is really hard to watch because of just how well it shows the horror that was WW2. Really good watch

This is one of my top 3 favourite war films a true masterpiece and all based off of a true story makes it even better, i was left on the edge of my seat, Andrew Garfield was breathtaking as Desmond Dos and it was a phenomenal experience

Hacksaw Ridge is certainly not for everybody, but I found it absolutely captivating, thought provoking, sometimes morally off kilter, but never compromised. If you can stomach the gore, you're in for one jaw-dropping experience.

Most overrated movie ever

I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually loved a war movie, plus, this being based on a true story just makes it THAT MUCH more meaningful and awesome.
I think Andrew did a phenomenal job portraying Doss, I really liked every bit of the movie didn't feel the time go by

I watched this in class. This movie incredibly displayed how war actually would look like if you were in it, very gruesome but very enjoyable. Also loved how they actually had a war veterans participated in the movies creation. Overall, I would watch again.

Solid war movie that explores the ethics behind violence. Andrew Garfield was great. The whole boot camp/first half dragged a bit but second half was really solid.
Directed by Mel Gibson though, f that guy

Beautiful story. Amazing acting and one of my favorite movies of all time. Extremely emotional and would sit down and watch this movie anytime.
