Hacksaw Ridge Reviews

Super good movie, Andrew Garfield plays his role perfectly. The action is really hard to watch because of just how well it shows the horror that was WW2. Really good watch

This is one of my top 3 favourite war films a true masterpiece and all based off of a true story makes it even better, i was left on the edge of my seat, Andrew Garfield was breathtaking as Desmond Dos and it was a phenomenal experience

Desmond Dawes is an absolute Chad.

“In peace, sons bury their fathers. In war, fathers bury their sons”

Hacksaw Ridge is certainly not for everybody, but I found it absolutely captivating, thought provoking, sometimes morally off kilter, but never compromised. If you can stomach the gore, you're in for one jaw-dropping experience.

Had to change my rating this movie was so fucking good

I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually loved a war movie, plus, this being based on a true story just makes it THAT MUCH more meaningful and awesome.
I think Andrew did a phenomenal job portraying Doss, I really liked every bit of the movie didn't feel the time go by

Really hard to watch from a horrors of war perspective. Very well acted, can’t believe this really happened. Excellent modern war flick.

Andrew Garfield is great in Hacksaw Ridge. Good action, save lives. 👍

it was a great movie for people who like this kind of thing… i can see the potential but i am too weak for the gruesome scenes

8.7/10

Desmond Doss is amazing, Andrew Garfield is amazing, this movie is amazing, I just love it so much. Some of the action bits felt so incredibly Hollywood which is strange because the actual effects felt very real and visceral. Other than that, this was such a great movie.
