I really enjoyed the passion and playfulness each actor brought to this musical. Even the finale was so moving even though this isn’t my favorite vocalist behind it. But man!!! If you’ve got an overbearing mother. This might hit home

I had a much longer review and then I remembered the word count. This was fantastic, s/o to Audra McDonald’s performance randomly popping up on my TikTok fyp that led me to watch this movie all in one day.

It’s a good musical and is well done. I’m certainly not in love with any of the music from the show but I think that overall it is a generally good portrayal of Gypsy’s story.
