top five war movies for me. really really good.

The whole time this movie had me at the edge of my seat. I was afraid to look away in fear I would miss something. It also tugs at your heart strings. Honestly it’s a great military movie and what they live by. A brother is always a brother, no matter what. I left with goosebumps

amazing movie that portrayed an unbreakable bond from start to finish. absolutely action packed and had its exciting and sad moments as well. 9.5/10

One of my favorite war movies. I loved how they didn’t paint the Americans to be the saints of the movie, which they do in a lot of war films, instead showing the soldiers ignorance to the Afghani people at the beginning and focusing on Ahmed and the Afghani people helping John.

Jake was not hot enough in this to redeem the fact that it was boring and a war movie 😬😬😬😬 Idk maybe I’m biased tho cause watching men shoot guns at each other for like an hour and a half with pretty much no other plot isn’t really smth that interests me a whole lot

Very emotional story. Jake G kills it once again as well as Dar Salim. The action scenes were pretty intense. I loved seeing the bond develop between Kinley and Ahmed. Highly recommend

I got through 10 minutes. I’m in love with Jake gyllenhaal but this was so boring

Great story with a debt that had to be paid. The action sequences were well thought out. Salim and Gyllenhaal paired perfectly.

Emotional true story that gives you insight on how translators were treated after the war in Afghanistan. A beautiful relationship that was built from a man who was not highly respected in the army but goes to extensive lengths to save another soldiers life. Great watch
