this movie is just… so strange. i can’t even form a coherent thought about it; I marked it dislike just bc i have such a fuzzy opinion

Greasiest movie I’ve ever watched. The movie is so random and has somewhat of a scary feel to it and the big Ned looking kid said “life is great without it you’d be dead” and I thought that was a goo quote. And the 2 lil emo girls with no eyebrows were dope.

Harmony Korine’s “masterpiece(?)” depicting rural Deep South characters. Makes you wonder if there was a script or if this is a documentary. Hard to watch due to its graphic non-horror visions. Just… very unique to see the least.

What the hell

Happened to see today that this made it into the Criterion Collection just last year. I watched this when it came out and still scenes from it randomly pop into my head sometimes. It definitely has that experimental vibe but so worth a watch. It can be really gut wrenching at times because it forces you to confront dystopian realities in poor, small town USA.

This shit was boring as hell. At least the soundtrack was good. (10-26-25)
