This was an amazing documentary which greatly highlighted the fragility of nature while shedding light on the possibilities of danger that can occur when you interfere in the lives of animals. This is a great film to watch especially if you are interested in anthropology. Loved!!

This man was dumb as rocks sorry. I feel like we don’t talk enough about the narcissism of “animal whisperers” who think they’re bigger than something and sooo special that they transcend millions of years of evolution and nature. Bears don’t understand English much less baby talk dude

A very sad documentary of a tortured soul that humorously believed he was part bear in a way and above authority. No one could stop him unfortunately, and he went out the way everyone thought he would it’s just a shame Amie had to be there with him that time :( rip 🧸🐻

4/15/26: I heard about this story when I was in middle school, but after watching the documentary, I’m truly taken aback at this entire experience. The whole thing is incredibly interesting while also overwhelming. It almost feels like both people from the Tiger King show were compounded into one Timothy Treadwell.

The dude is clearly insane. I only feel bad for the girl that died with him. I can understand wanting to be in nature but I agree with the native Americans that live there. PLUS how are you going to say you're a protector when you didn't do anything when ppl showed up once

Great bear footage, yes. Interesting lifestyle and a big endeavor. But ultimately, I wasn’t really taken by Treadwell.

Very well done gives an in depth perspective of Timothy Treadwell who was a troubled soul searching for his purpose. You sympathize with him immensely but also taken aback by his carelessness and lack of understanding of nature.
