kinda slow and not much of a plot, i wish we had more backstory to the MCs. but it’s incredibly anxiety inducing and unsettling the entire runtime which counts for something. the hallucination scene got me, wasn’t expecting it but it was beautiful. wish she was more determined more quickly, just felt too drawn out. wanted more at the end. predictable in many ways.
but the acting between the two were incredible. idk if i’ve ever watched something so heavily focused on one character, it was a unique watch. cinematography is stellar duh, space🤘
“tell her i love her”🥲 6/10

Gravity
There are some truly incredible sequences in here, and for a studio tentpole it's quite original, but don't expect a masterpiece.

Gravity
Pointless. They both magically survive a crash from space and wake up on the beach and the movie ends? No thanks

I remembered liking this a lot when it first came out. Rewatching it, the ending kinda sucked…..I needed more closure. But the acting from Sandra bullock was great + George too. I loveee space movies for the cinematography. Some sick shots but I think this was lacking an overall purpose to me. Glad she made it back down but everything inbetween just made me anxious lol

"Gravity" (2013), directed by Alfonso Cuarón, is a breathtaking visual masterpiece that immerses viewers in the vast, unforgiving expanse of space. Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, the film follows Dr. Ryan Stone (Bullock) and veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney) as they struggle to survive after their space shuttle is destroyed. The plot is intense and gripping, maintaining high tension from start to finish. Bullock's performance is particularly compelling, conveying vulnerability and resilience in a life-or-death scenario. Cuarón's direction, combined with Emmanuel Lubezki's stunning cinematography, creates an immersive experience that leverages long, continuous shots and state-of-the-art visual effects. The film's use of silence and Steven Price's haunting score enhance the eerie, isolating atmosphere of space. While the story may feel simplistic at times, the film's technical brilliance and emotional depth make it a landmark in cinematic history, offering a visceral, edge-of-your-seat experience that is both thrilling and profoundly human.

Gravity
honestly, why is this movie so well rated? it's laughable that it's rated better than interstellar. Extremely tiring scenarios with repetitive ideas, no expansion on WHAT caused this disaster or why it happened. Just to leave a sour taste in your mouth at the end. Super overhyped
