a lot of this movie felt weak and underdeveloped. it wasn’t the worst movie i’ve ever seen, but they could’ve done a lot more. the plot twist was ass and i wish they would’ve stuck with the whole “is this actually our mother” narrative

this movie was okay. at the end of the movie i was hoping that things would get tied together more but they weren’t. this movie felt unfinished at some points, like the backstory and i felt that there was some questions left unanswered but overall was a good, scary movie.

Predicted the plot twist within the first 5 minutes. At least the movie is free birth control. Would not force my worst enemy to watch this.

not as scary as i thought it would be, which was kind of nice. more creepy and less jump scares which i absolutely hate so that was a huge plus. only reason i'm not loving it is bc i wish there maybe was a little more to the ending. yes, love the twist but i want more after!!6/10

Goodnight mommy (2014), is a well-written and thought provoking movie, the storyline is unique compared to mainstream horror movies.
The plot twist towards the end of the movie is a well-directed masterpiece, that ties the movie together, adding a sense of realism.
Rate: 8.3/10

Not sure if we need a US remake but it’s coming. The original is fantastic though. Watch it.

Great foreign horror movie! Terrifying and sad at times. Hard watch but very good up until the end.

I got recommend this and just eh, like if you like a24 horror stuff this is up your alley otherwise it’s a bit of a snooze fest till the finale

a very intense, atmospheric film, extremely oppressive. not only because of the children, but the mother’s character adds a lot as well, poisoning the entire parent–child relationship.

Still not quite sure what happened in this movie... I'm assuming the one kid is alive and an orphan now? certainly was eerie at parts, but certainly not scary
