Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum

The last 30 minutes is what I would describe as the only good part of this film. It does have its scary moments but the jumpscares were disappointing.

i REALLY liked the setup & all the ladies, having it be a high budget youtube video as the premise was really cool but it took forever to get to the actual scares & when it got there, i was really disappointed :( was more corny than scary, but i still enjoyed, coulda been better

Uses darkness very well, making you uneasy and wonder what’s lurking in every shadow and corridor. The cast of characters is also pretty well done since characters in found footage can often be incredibly underwhelming

A great version of one of my favorite movies of all time- Grave Encounters. The scares in this were immaculate, and it excelled in a ton of ways that Grave Encounters also did. That whisper scare was so effective.

Some realllly good scares and some equally pretty terrible scares. But overall very spooky and had chills for most of it. Pretty solid.
