Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

Godzilla is a pink cutie pie

Lizard and Ape team up to fight bigger ape with sharp whip

My biggest issue with this movie is that despite the fact that we get what we want with more monster screen time over humans … you don’t feel the weight of impending doom… it just scenes after scenes after scenes and you know everything will be alright . See it because it’s fun

7.4/10

It was good. The pacing held up, visuals were sharp, and the performances felt authentic. Overall, it left a strong impression.

What a spectacle. These are just so fun.

Rebecca Hall is so talented. Taking some of the cheesiest lines and delivering them with such conviction that I cried at the end.

Dan Stevens was such a fun choice here.

The fight scenes are epic. The lore is so silly and nonsensical but simultaneously so sick. The visual effects go crazy. The writing is so weak but these movies are just such a good time.
