I was not entertained.
This movie was literally only swordporn with quotes it stole from the first movie and lots of promising plot lines leading absolutely nowhere. Also love the fact that the only thing female characters are there for is dying an unnecessarily death

The fights aren’t as exciting, the score is uninspired and every performance seems phoned in - especially Denzel’s.

I love the original, and Russell Crowe was a presence on the screen in the 2000s. But this didn’t do anything for me. Endless callbacks to the original film, shallow characters, a very generic script, and a ton of terrible animal CGI. Denzel is a king and the only bright spot.
