Are you not entertained!

I had to put my ratings higher than I initially put it. Days have passed since I watched this and I haven't gone a day not thinking about it. It makes my anticipation for number 2 fly high. The surreal time shift to the Roman era is insane, but expected from a filmmaking legend like Ridley. This is easily one of my favorites, for a bunch of reasons. The story to start with builds into the world and characters, giving it all so much juice. The actors all fit so comfortably into their uncomfortable roles, and the outfits? I want Joaquin's wardrobe so badly. The drama is the level of 'entertainment' I yearn for. If we talking Ancient Rome, this sits the throne.
