This movie is so sad to me. Yeah it was good. But thats just cause I like movies based off true stories. But i don’t understand how a parents could do what this one did to his child

It’s crazy knowing it was based off a true story. Made me think about it after watching it. I wish they would have showed more reaction with the family when they all realized what the father did. Also, I wish they would tell us what everyone is doing now, like at the end.

Very dark and mature story, but i was on the edge of my seat, awaiting the next scene because i was so involved. Crazy that it is based of a real story.

It was alright, ish. I wanted to see the parallels they drew to the original case but the acting was terrible. Really, really terrible. I think if I hadn’t known the case, I’d have switched off really early on. In this version of events the mum would definitely known.

57/100, the movie does a great job at making you feel uncomfortable, which is good because that’s what it’s goal was. The movie just felt SO rushed, like 20 years was all in just 90 minutes, and it felt like this could have been a whole season of a TV show instead of a movie.

it’s really good then end up being sad cause the dad locked his own daughter and got her pregnant by r@pping her she had 4 kids but she lost the 4th one😢💔
i hope they come out with part 2 to see if she tells her bf everything.

Not sure how to rate it. Horrible story, makes me sick (based on a true story). I don’t recommend anybody to watch this.

It went a bit fast and I didn’t feel like they showed enough of her dealing with the trauma of what happened to her but overall it was super good. Still don’t understand how she was down there for so long. Crazy.

this movie is my top movie I’ve watched in 2023 and I don’t think anything else I watch this year will beat it. This movie is truly incredibly heartbreaking and nauseating to watch I have to give all the actors a big round of applause cause these weren’t easy parts to play

Good movie very graphic. What he did to his daughter all because she was trying to be a kid the raping and getting her pregnant and then lying about her disappearance to her mother so she wouldn’t find out made me sick. He didn’t see no wrong his actions as long as he had power

Amazing movie in the way that the story is heartbreaking and terrible. This movie is very serious and real and depressing. Make sure you read the summary for trigger warnings bc there are some heavy moments in this movie.
