i cannot imagine how people felt watching this organically and having no idea it wasn’t real because wow the acting and presentation is so convincing
i found it all very interesting and it’s such a cool style, i wish we got more films like this, it had me checking every corner

This is a very similar situation to "Blair Witch," where the time it came out, I totally get it was scary as shit, thinking it was real. However, when you watch it now knowing it's all a prank, it becomes incredibly boring for like the first hour. The final 30 minutes, though, it got interesting, and some intense sequences, the same as Blair Witch did.

i enjoyed the style of this movie, definitely reminds me of Late night with the Devil. there were definitely some slow parts but i think that’s what made it feel more real

Did not expect that to be so terrifying! Would make for a great double feature with Late Night with the Devil, though I think this might be the superior of the two.

Couldn't believe this cult classic has escaped me for so long. Love me some found footage movies! It was a great watch!

A must watch for fans of paranormal movies

Originally advertised as being a real factual documentary on Halloween in the UK 1992 broadcasted live (if you’ve seen Conjuring 2 and Late Night with the Devil you will quickly see their inspirations) this surprisingly made me feel uneasy while I was watching this in my dark room lol

Normally ghosts/paranormal things are the last things that would give me the chills but something about the time period, the concept of this being broadcasted live, and the way the scares were presented was just so chilling

The controversies behind this show give it a few boosts as well, its a shame that they never thought of doing this concept again because its such a fun thing to do for Halloween

This might be one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever watched…. Very satisfying horror and eerily realistic, this mockumentary will chill you to the bone. There are parts that genuinely make you forget that this is all staged. Definitely give it a watch, if you dare…

The best found footage horror film (before ‘The Blair Witch Project’)
